The Clackamas SWCD Barn
The barn on our property has been a well-known part of the Beavercreek community for many years. As we create more programs that welcome the public to our property, we must make sure our visitors are safe.
Professional engineers have evaluated the barn and found significant problems that may make the building unsafe for staff and the public.
The Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors must choose a safe and affordable solution to prevent any risk to people visiting our farm.
Our goal is to share information about the barn’s condition, and the options we are considering to address the problems, with the local community. We also want to hear the community’s thoughts and ideas about these options.
Access to Survey
If you attend the meeting online, you will receive a survey link so you may share your thoughts. Those attending in person may use the survey or share their thoughts directly with District staff at the meeting.
If you are unable to attend in person or join virtually on August 20th, a recording of the meeting and the survey link will be available on our website the next day, August 21st!

National Night Out
National Night Out in Beavercreek, Oregon, is an annual community-building event aimed at fostering stronger relationships between residents and law enforcement. It's held on the first Tuesday of August, and this year, it will be on August 5th, 2025. In Beavercreek, the event will take place at Korner Park from 5:30-8:00 PM.
The event will feature:
Community Engagement: Meet with neighbors, local law enforcement, and first responders like the Beavercreek Fire Department and Mountain Wave Search & Rescue.
Safety Information: Learn about community safety and preparedness from various organizations.
Food and Fun: Enjoy food options and family-friendly activities.
Interactive Exhibits: Explore safety booths and learn about community resources.
The Oregon Livestock Council will be in attendance so you can tour their new trailer, and Kissin’ Kates will be providing Tacos!
Grange Workday Event
Come Join Us!
Sunday August 3rd from 9AM - 1:00PM, Lunch will be provided
We are planning a work day to catch up on some much needed work around the grange hall. We will be clearing weeds, trimming berry vines along the back of the parking lot, painting the dining hall, installing a camera system, pressure washing the blacktop where future painting needs to be done, etc.
If anyone is willing and able, or knows someone who is, we would appreciate the help! Lunch will be provided. Please let us know (call or text Pam at the number below) if someone is coming to help so we know how many to expect for lunch & can provide the correct work equipment.
