Mark Hillyard
Director at Large, The Hamlet of Beavercreek
Mark Hillyard has served the Beavercreek community since 2021 as a Director at Large. He and his wife, Cindy, co‑lead the Hamlet’s Parks Committee and are deeply engaged in emergency preparedness efforts across Clackamas County, including water rescue, mountain rescue, CPR training, and hosting clinics at their home. At their residence, the Hillyards maintain a rural oasis with chickens, horses, and cats, all part of their farm‑life rhythm. In summary: the Hillyards are basically THE friendly neighborhood first responders, with better coffee and more chickens!
Mark is also active in community engagement and plays a significant role in the security and promotion of the St. Paul Rodeo, proving that civic service and cowboy hats do, in fact, go hand in hand. He also currently serves on the Clackamas County Coordinating Committee (C4) as the Hamlet representative where he works on issues like public safety, transportation and making sure rural communities like Beavercreek don’t get lost in the shuffle (or the city traffic).
